Total Rip Off
“Walked in for a consultation with Dr. Katona for a possible gum graft. I was walked into an open area with three dental chairs side by side and sat in the first one. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me and numbered my teeth to an assistant. She then said they would do an estimate with my insurance and I could schedule the appointment for the gum graft. During my five minutes in the chair, several people walked by me- squeezing past the chair they sat me in. I then received a $127 bill for the “consultation” that lasted less than 5 minutes. Total rip-off, I will not be doing the procedure with them due to cost ( when I got the estimate back, my regular dentist said it was more expensive than other periodontists), the fact they charged me $127 for almost nothing and the office environment. I read not so great reviews before I went and I should have listened to them! Do not go to this practice!!!”

Don't go to this dentist, please read this before making an appointment!
“I would give him zero stars if I could. The cavity filling he put in fell out only days after it was put in. I didn't want to go back to him because I found him patronizing so I went to a different dentist to have it fixed. This dentist took x-rays despite my telling him Dr. Pauley had taken a full panoramic and I didn't see it as necessary. Good thing he didn't listen to me because he found an infected root canal. The new dentist said it is impossible with how bad it was that it wasn't on my x-rays taken by Dr. Pauley. \nHe is patronizing. I was spoken to as though I was an idiot and had no desire what so ever to know the specifics of his findings. For example, how many cavities do I have? Yes, that's right, I had to ask! He simply told me I had to come back and got up to leave the room. It is important to me that medical professionals speak to me like the educated adult I am and explain their findings and treatment plans. If you value this as well do not go to Dr. Pauley.”
