Hello, my name is Dr. Stephen Matarazzo. I want you to know that I love dentistry. It is one of my greatest passions, next to my wife and our three children, Katie, Michael, and Meg, who are true gifts from God. I am also passionate about my work as a volunteer officer for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, since 2003. Cancer patients having stem cell or bone marrow transplant cannot have any trace of gum disease, or decayed or infected teeth. These everyday problems can cause the transplant to fail. In fact, 80 percent of transplant failures are caused by undiscovered and untreated dental infections. The future is already uncertain for these patients. I treat these courageous individuals like my family. I am thrilled to serve them
