Dr. Mark Berkowitz has been in active practice for 47 years. He has been a biological dentist for the past 25 years. He is an Accredited Member of The IAOMT and is on the Board of Directors and is also Chairman of the Mentor Committee. He performs biocompatibility testing on his patients with potential allergy issues. Dr. Berkowitz has eliminated all metals from his practice and restores teeth with natural materials like Zirconia and E-Max. For composite restorations, he uses non-BPA composites and has eliminated fluoride from his practice. Dr. Berkowitz will extract root canal teeth that test poorly (DNA testing and 3D x-rays/CBCT and muscle testing/kinesiology testing), applying biological principles in their removal.
