Dr. Shin achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. He proceeded to complete his Advance Education in General Dentistry residency with NYU Langone Hospital. He specializes in implants, third molar extractions, and esthetic treatments. He is now working with his sister Dr. Jin Sup Shin, an orthodontist, at SmileWorks NYC. Dr. Shin’s treatment philosophy is to help and educate patients to understand their oral health. When a dental treatment is indicated, he has a detailed conversation with his patient to maximize the treatment outcome and to prevent recurring diseases. This is why his patients have great outcomes and confidence when going to their dentist.
