Sharon Elad, DMD, MSc, is a Professor of Dentistry at the University of Rochester, where she is Chair of the Division of Oral Medicine at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), and a Principal Consultant for Hospital Dentistry at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY. Dr. Elad runs Oral Medicine services which are focused on the diagnosis and non-surgical management of medically-related disorders or conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. This includes oral mucosal diseases, complications of cancer or cancer therapy, burning mouth syndrome, and salivary gland disorders, among others.
