Featherstone Cosmetic Dentistry was established in Henderson, Nevada in 2002. Dr. Richard W. Featherstone, DDS employs eight staff members and is open on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. Doctor Featherstone is pleased to be the only dentist in Nevada who is credentialed by both the American Academy of Cosmetic Denstistry (AACD) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). His titles are AAACD (Accredited, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and AFAAID, Associate Fellow, American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

His office was one of five in Las Vegas designated as a 2009 Premier Provider for Invisalign, the “no braces” orthodontic system. Dr. Featherstone won first place in May 2008 at the Invisalign national competition. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, or AGD. Dr. Featherstone passed his examination in 1990 to become an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, or AAID. Founded in 1951, the Academy is the first professional organization in the world dedicated to implant dentistry. In fact, Dr. Featherstone is the only dentist in Nevada and most of the western states that can claim all four of these credentials.
